Backflow Testing

Backflow is defined as the undesirable reversal of flow in a potable water distribution system as a result of a pressure differential or siphon condition that exists between two piping systems. Water that comes out of your sprinkler system should never be allowed to be drawn back into the potable water system by siphon, pressure loss, or any other means.

Backflow assemblies and devices have parts that can break down and wear out, just like the parts on your car. Having backflow testing done annually by a certified technician will help to ensure the drinking water supplied to your home remains safe.
